Cheryl was born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, on 30 June 1983 and her determination to succeed as a singer and dancer was recognised at an early age.

In 2002, Cheryl auditioned for Popstars: The Rivals and on 30 November 2002, Cheryl was selected as one of the five group members.  Girls Aloud went on to achieve 20 consecutive Top-10 singles and 4 Number-One singles.  Girls Aloud were the biggest selling girl group of the 21st Century.

Cheryl is without question the best dancer of Girls Aloud and she started dancing at the age of four and gave stunning dancing performances in her solo tour and X-Factor.

In 2010, Cheryl appeared on Piers Morgan Life Stories, attracting an audience of over 7 million viewers and she has become known as the Nation's Sweetheart.

Cheryl's empathy with X-Factor contestants earned her much admiration from all and her place on the judging panel led to increased audience numbers.

In 2019 and 2020, Cheryl was appointed as a Dance Captain in the hit BBC Show, The Greatest Dancer which attracted a wide range of solo to group performers.

Cheryl has released four studio albums, and supported the Black Eyed Peas in 2010 and in 2012 gave a fabulous performance in her A Million Lights tour and she will always be the Nation's Sweetheart among her fans.
