Pop Stars the Rivals was an ITV talent show that selected both a boy and girl group who competed for the Christmas 2002 number one spot on the singles chart.
The series was hosted by Davina McCall with the performances judged by Pete Waterman, Louis Walsh and Geri Halliwell.
The boy group was called "One True Voice" and the girl group was "Girls Aloud". Girls Aloud won the competition entering the singles chart as number one with "Sound of the Underground", a great song that remains very popular.
